Our SUPPLY WP5 Team has published Balancing donor health and plasma collection: a systematic review of the impact of plasmapheresis frequency in Transfusion Medicine Reviews. Recognising that donor protection is essential, the team shows that more high-quality prospective cohort studies and experimental studies are needed to determine a safe threshold donation frequency that minimizes any possible harmful effect on the donor. Well done to Tine and all the WP5 team.
